Premium access account for $10 a month also nets you +50% experience and cash from every fish, so that is also something to consider. They're one of the better investments in the game with the exception of the very high level lakes, and I feel like if you really like a game, you should support the developers with a little cash flow anyways. You could also potentially buy unlimited licenses for real money. Obviously you'll never get anywhere if you buy a license and don't fish as much as you can while the license is up. You will struggle to make any headway at first, since the cost of license and travel to Alberta is relatively high, but you should be able to overcome it if you play a decent amount and fill your keepnet. Obviously larger keepnets and stringers equal more money per day, equaling more profit for you. A 90KG fishnet should be plenty to cover the cost of staying there daily and should be able to cover travel and license costs after a few days of full keepnets. You'll want a rod stand too, if possible, because you're going to spin fish while you bottom fish for maximum efficiency. So best advice I can give is to ignore what the indicator is telling you and listen to what your common sense is telling you that your lure is doing.Yes, generally the heavier the better. However, being a lifelong angler means I fully understand what my lure is doing at all times and depths ( regardless of type ), whereas non anglers who just play the game for fun may depend on that indicator. I simply ignore the indicator and continued fishing as normal, with no change to my catch rates. Spoons also appear to stay midwater and then suddenly dive to the deck halfway through a retrieve. Crankbaits in particular seem to behave very strangely on the indicator with anything over a 6 foot crank apparently diving to the deck and staying there. Hey fella, what I find personally is that the lure indicator doesn't reflect what the lure is actually doing, especially on deeper venues like Alberta and Mich. I broke down and got the Sport Heavy Casting package but it only casts 100 feet. Should the lure go all the way down to the bottom? Stop and go and twitch all look very strange. I thought I had improved my lure retrieves but Alberta is confusing me.
